Esmeralda stands with the kids. She is helping put on they're coats, etc. They're suitcases rest on the floor, they are going to spend Halloween at Grandma and Grandpa's Stephens. Tabitha speaks to Esmeralda as Esmeralda is helping Adam, who is sitting at the base of the steps, put on shoes.

We've never spent a holiday with Grandma & Grandpa Stephens before.

The whole room is lit with green and lavender smoke and scented candles. Spider webs surround the kitchen. A hugs coulron rests in the middle of the kitchen. Endora stands on some steps and is string the steaming cauldron.

DARRIN
What the devil are you doing in here!?

ENDORA
Just your simple, every day incantation.

SAMANTHA
Mother, a simple incantation is a zip, twitch, or zap not turning our kitchen into a witch pharmacy!

ENDORA

08. INT. DINNING ROOM - NIGHT

Gladys Kravitz walks into the scene and stops at the kitchen door. She stops to listen.

ENDORA

...Endora adds an owl pellet into the cauldron. The ground shakes...

Gladys is still listening, very closely! She overhears...

12. INT. STEPHENS' KITCHEN - NIGHT

SAMANTHA

What was why I was thinking... Why not go back in time, teach those irritating mortals who they're messing with...

Thunder and Lighting bolts enter the kitchen... A dark cloud levitates over everyones head. A man, about 77 years old stands on the cloud, he is very angry and demanding. He is part of the WITCHES COUNCIL!

WITCHES COUNCIL

ENDORA

WITCHES COUNCIL
It's forbidden. It took alot to get past those blasted with hunts! If you go back and use your magic our kind will never hear the end of it!

SAMANTHA

WITCHES COUNCIL
I'm warning you Endora... You go to anywhere during the 17th century... there'll be unspeakable wrath to pay. Do you want that?... I did not think so! Goodbye.

The Witches Council Man pops out. Now why the others are talking... Endora zaps the couldron back and begins putting in grose ingredients in there!

SAMANTHA
How nice.

DARRIN
So I guess no one wants to play Monopoly!?

MATILDA

SAMANTHA

13. INT. DINNING ROOM - NIGHT

Gladys Kravitz disappears as well.

14. INT. SALEM, MASS. 1692 - DAY

We spend a few moments going through the cities sites while Cher's "Gypsies, Tramps, & Thieves" plays. We take look at some of the accused witches being hung, the town council house, the horse & buggies, the homes, families doing chores, etc. We zoom on "The Craft Home".

15. INT. CRAFT HOME - DAY

Everything is decorated just as a typical 1692 home would. Endora, who looks about 20 years younger sits knitting in her typical puritan suit. A young Samantha, who looks about 7 years old walks in from another small room in the house.

YOUNG SAMANTHA
Mother, I overheard Mrs. Brown telling the council that Aunt Matilda was a...

YOUNG ENDORA
Samantha, I know my child.

YOUNG SAMANTHA
I am so frightened. What if they find out we are...

Young Endora is startled and grabs Young Samantha by the shoulders.

YOUNG ENDORA

YOUNG SAMANTHA

The scene is frozen stars shine over both Endora and Samantha's head. The future Sam & Endora go into they're past bodies as some type of ghost as spirit. They are pretty much in they're bodies now, but in 1692.

ENDORA
...Marry a mortal! What!? It worked!

SAMANTHA
Mother! Didn't you hear them!? Unspeakable wrath! Now we are all going down! We could all use our powers just because you wanted to come back for your own personal gain!? And where's Darrin!?

ENDORA

than I tont Derwood. Show those mortals what it is like to be tried and accused and save Matilda!

The Witches Council dark cloud returns...

WITCHES COUNCIL

They disappear.

ENDORA

WITCHES COUNCIL (voice)
We've came to the conclusion that it is too late. You must suffer the consequences.

SAMANTHA

ENDORA

ENDORA

SAMANTHA

ENDORA

Samantha heads toward the door.

Endora zaps Samantha to the way she looked back in 1972. Of course, she still has the puritan style going for her.

16. EXT. 1692 SALEM, MASS. STREET - DAY

Samantha begins walking up and down the street looking for Darrin until she meets up with a stanger.

STRANGER
Aren't you knew here ma'am?

SAMANTHA
You could say that.

STRANGER
...And yet your lingo differs much from ours. You aren't a witch are you ?

SAMANTHA
Heavens no!

STANGER
That's good to know. But you better watch yourself. They'll arrest just anybody for being new or talking differently.

SAMANTHA
Thanks. Ah, Ms... I was wondering if you knew why these witch hunts here started?

STRANGER
Did I not mention to just accept what is going on? You ask one question, you'll BURN!

The stranger runs away! Samantha runs after her for a few moments. They come across the council place, where most of the witch trials were held. The strangers runs in and slams the door before Samantha can run in after her.

SAMANTHA
I wonder what she is doing?

Samantha turns around against the crowd and waves her hand over her face. This will let her know what is going on in the court room.

STRANGER (Voice)
Yes, I am a witch... I am a witch... I am a witch...

17. INT. COUNCIL HOUSE - DAY

The strangers rests one knee on the floor talking to the back of a man...

STRANGER
Arrest me... I knew my thoughts were bad. I am EVIL!
Arrest me! NOW!

The man turns around and it is Darrin, a past Darrin who is dress up in Puritan clothes and everything... He snaps his fingers and the officers come for the Stranger!

PAST DARRIN
Hang her! Kill her and evil inside of her take her away!

The woman screams as the officers carry her off.

18. EXT. COUNCIL HOUSE - DAY

Samantha comes out of her mind reading phase.

SAMANTHA
Darrin!?

Darrin walks out of the council house screaming and yelling...

PAST DARRIN
Kill the witch! Kill the witch! Kill the witch!

SAMANTHA
Darrin? It's me Sam.

PAST DARRIN
You better shut up before we get...

The scene is frozen and now Darrin's future body is taking over his past one. Since he is mortal, it took awhile for the spell to carry him all that way.

DARRIN
What are we doing here?

We have to get back to our house.

DARRIN
Yes we do, our house! Where is it. This doesn't even look like our century.

SAMANTHA

DARRIN

DARRIN

DARRIN
Yeah, I recognized from the other times that Aunt Clara and Esmeralda sent us here.

SAMANTHA
Now, Darrin... Mother just wants justice for what the species, excuse the terms "mortal"
has done to her.

DARRIN
Oh behalf of us mortals, She deserves it.

SAMANTHA
Now, Darrin...

DARRIN

The scene is frozen as Gladys Kravit's future body takes over her past., just like everyone else.

Another Stranger stops by... As the conversation thickens, a crowd collects.

GLADYS

STRANGER #2

GLADYS (Excited)
Wow, no one has never believed me before! I see her all the time and evil ways. I can fly, make things dis-appear, re-appear.... You should see her powers!

STRANGER #2 (Angry and points)

DARRIN

SAMANTHA

DARRIN

SAMANTHA
What!? They'll know!

DARRIN
In this town... Everyone knows. They'll believe a drunk! Run....

Samantha and Darrin take off running. A huge crowd has collected, they begin to chase them.

20. INT. CRAFT HOUSE - DAY

Endora sits with Matilda as they argue over what to do.

MATILDA
I appreciate what you are trying to do for me I...

ENDORA
It isn't just for you Matilda... It's for all witches... If I could re-live any part of history and change the outcome.... It would be the Salem Witch Hunts.

MATILDA
And you are re-living today and changing it?

ENDORA
Correct, my dear.

MATILDA
But what that huge punishment that the council promised?

ENDORA
They're just afraid that I'll mess up and make Witch Hunting return back in 1972.

MATILDA
And...

ENDORA
...And I won't mess up.

MATILDA
But what if you do?

ENDORA
This is the one thing that I cannot lose.

Samantha and Darrin run into the house and slam the door. Endora and Matilda jump up in fright.

MATILDA
What is it Samantha?

SAMANTHA
Gladys Kravitz arrived in her past body and thought It'd be funny to tell the whole town I was a witch.

ENDORA
Oh no.

We begin to hear the crowd... Endora zaps Samantha back to her child self and tries to do something on Darrin but it doesn't work.

YOUNG SAMANTHA
Mother, what happened?

ENDORA
My powers, Donald hide in the bedroom. Oh no...

YOUNG SAMANTHA
I also lost my powers today.

WITCHES COUNCIL (Voice)
Unspeakable wrath.

ENDORA
I can do it with out my powers. Thank you!

Matilda tries to use her powers... Nothing.

MATILDA
I lost mine too!

Officers burst open the door. The crowd comes inside. The crowd screams and shouts hoping they will get to kill another witch! About 5 officers run into the home. One takes Young Samantha, 2 take Matilda, 2 take Endora. The three witches struggle to let lose but it does no good.

OFFICER #1
You will burn for your witchery!

OFFICER #2
Yeah, we do not like the likes of the devil in our town.

OFFICER #3
Tonight, you will be tried and convicted...

The crowd continues to scream. We zoom in on Gladys who is screaming the loudest and celebrating....

GLADYS
Wow, pepole acutally believe me and this witch hunt seem so real!

21. INT. THE SMALL BEDROOM - DAY

Darrin stands in the dark room. We hears the crowd cheer and shout. He opens the door to save Sam but everyone had disappeared.

DARRIN
What the!? I need a plan...

Darrin runs out the front door and walks the crowd, the officers holding the witches walk away. Officer #4 walks up to Darrin.

OFFICER #4
I see you see we caught ourselves a few more witches, are you going to give them a trial Matthew?

DARRIN
Me?

OFFICER #4
Are you the town judge?

DARRIN
Me?

OFFICER #4
Yes... You've tried and convicted most of or town's witches!

DARRIN
Oh of course! Yes, I am afraid I don't know what one was talking about. So, I, Matthew Stephens, head of town, will give the witches a trial tonight, and I'll test to see if they are really witches tonight.

OFFICER #4
Good. Good. See you at court tonight.

DARRIN
Bye.

Officer walks away Darrin runs past him towards the crowd looking for the witches. The crowd comes to a stop. Darrin is stuck behind the crowd, but can't see what is going on. At the front of the crowd, the officers let the witches lose and put them in the one and only STOCKS! The crowd begins to pick up sticks and rocks to throw at the witches!

DARRIN
Hey!!! These are not guilty witches. Tonight we will know for sure if these are witches. Do not treat them unkindly until we know for sure. Because I'm Matthew Stephens!

GLADYS
No, that's Darrin Stephens, not Matthew.

DARRIN
Ma'am! Whoever you are leave now before you get accused to!

GLADYS
This is just a game!

DARRIN
Officers, please escort her away from here and everyone else leave! Because I'm Matthew Stephens!

The gives a long line of "Ahhhs" as they leave. The officers take Gladys away.

GLADYS
This isn't fair......... I'm not the witch! Put me down!

Darrin walks over to Matilda, Young Samantha, and Endora.

ENDORA
A million curses on the Gloria Brown and all the descendants.

YOUNG SAMANTHA

Feels like I'm married to Tabitha or something. Look, I don't know how this is going to turn out tonight.

ENDORA
You are going to say we aren't witches right?

DARRIN
Wow, I never thought I'd ever be in this position Endora.

ENDORA

DARRIN

YOUNG SAMANTHA
Darrin....

DARRIN
Okay, Yes... I'll find a way to say you're not witches but how do I do it.

MATILDA
Well, since your setting us free and all... Just show up at the court house at sun down... everyone probably in the whole town will show up. All you do is stand in front them and speak. Us, the accused will stand behind you with officers on our back then you make up some ridiculous test that proves we aren't guilty.

DARRIN
But what if they sense something wrong about me and then turn me into the accused.

ENDORA
Believe it or not, your ancestor Matthew was head of this town, he had so much power...

DARRIN
I got the picture...

YOUNG SAMANTHA
You better leave before...

DARRIN

MATILDA / YOUNG SAMANTHA / ENDORA

Darrin leaves and the witches just stay there uncomfortable. Gladys Kravitz walks up to then.

GLADYS
Hello Mrs. Stephens mother? Do you know where I can find Mrs. Stephens.I wanted her to be in the stocks to.

ENDORA
You'll find her in your nightmares.

YOUNG SAMANTHA
Mother....

GLADYS
Oh no! Mrs. Stephens?

Gladys runs off...

GLADYS
Abner!!!

ENDORA
That's right, run and then fall and break something!

MATILDA
You are serious about changing history..

ENDORA
More than anything in the world.

YOUNG SAMANTHA
Well something tells me you'll get your witch, I mean wish, We have no powers... Do you think that's our punishment?

MATILDA
The council is never that easy.

YOUNG SAMANTHA
Oh no.

Stranger #3 walks by, yells "Witches", and continues walking.

22. EXT. CLOSE-UP THE SUN - AFTERNOON

23. INT. CRAFT HOUSE - AFTERNOON

Darrin sits in there thinking about what he was going to say.

DARRIN (To himself)
Okay, just make any crazy test. Something really stupid.... Not too stupid... What makes me think these people are this naive.I should be use to doing this by now. Why me? Why can't Sam and I be a normal couple without getting side tracked by her irritating mother.

24. EXT. THE STOCKS - AFTERNOON

ENDORA
How dare you?

DARRIN
What!?

YOUNG SAMANTHA
That's a horrible thing to do.

DARRIN
I just made an offer.... If I bail her out she promises to stay away from us for a whole year.

ENDORA
How dare you!?

DARRIN
Fine. It was just a suggestion.

Darrin walks off.

MATILDA
Don't pay attention. You do what you like.

ENDORA
Actually, what he suggested doesn't sound bad.

YOUNG SAMANTHA
Mother...

ENDORA
If we get out of here alive tonight, considering Derwood does what he's suppose to I want to stay and keep re-living the Salem witch hunts until they're gone. It was only 9 months long, everytime I could change it a little until...

YOUNG SAMANTHA
You aren't serious...

ENDORA
It wouldn't be that long.

25. EXT. CLOSE UP OF THE SUN GOING DOWN - EVENING

27. INT. COURT HOUSE - EVENING

The place is packed! The whole town has a seat, some have to stand off to the side. There is an aisle in the middle of the room. Darrin stands in the front, as Matthew of course, he tries to get everyone to comb down.

DARRIN
Attention! Attention!

The crowd gets louder.

DARRIN
We cannot start until we close our mouths up.

Okay, the crowd is finally combing down. Darrin is obviously a little nervous and he is kind of making up what he says as he goes.

DARRIN
Okay, Um, Bring in the accused...

Officers follow Young Samantha, Endora, and Matilda into the court room. The crowd goes bonkers as they scream "Witch"! "Witch"! "Witch"!

DARRIN
Comb down!

ENDORA
Yeah.

YOUNG SAMANTHA
Mother.

The withes are lined up with the offers behind Darrin.

DARRIN
Bring in the witness.

Gloria walks in and the crowd cheers for her.

GLADYS
They're all witches! Ever her, dad, uncle...

DARRIN
Do not speak unless spoken to ma'am.

The crowd combs down and Gladys speaks with Darrin at the front.

GLADYS
Mrs. Stephens, it's okay you can call me Mrs. Kravitz.

STRANGER #5 (In the audience)
But you are Mrs. Brown1

GLADYS
No, I am....

DARRIN
Silence! Ma'am! Please take your seat and tell us what makes you think these people are witches.

Gladys takes a seat and begins answering the questions.

GLADYS
You should know, you're married to the girl and she's a witch!

DARRIN
Ah, ah, Leave me out of it! How could I wed a 7 year old girl!? Tell us what proof you have!

GLADYS
I once saw her...

DARRIN
I asked what proof!? Not what you saw! Your eyes can deceive you, MA'AM!

GLADYS
Well, I don't have any... But....

DARRIN
No buts. Your are dismissed.

GLADYS
Why? These are the witches.

DARRIN
Can you prove this?

GLADYS
No.

DARRIN
Please take a seat with the rest.

Gladys goes and takes an empty front row seat. Darrin begins looking at Matilda, Endora, and Young Samantha's faces. Once Gladys is seated Darrin begins to speak.

DARRIN
Now...

At once, everyone except the witches and Darrin are frozen. The dark witches council cloud returns with the same man on it.

WITCHES COUNCIL
Well, you changed history enough to where Matilda does not dies but how do you know you did not change to where all of you will die? I warned you. Apparently your powers weren't enough.

Everyone unfreezes.

DARRIN
Ah, ah.... I know for a fact all witches have a mole between they're eyes.

We get a close-up the witches faces and see that there are no moles between the eyes!

DARRIN (CONT'D)
Now do you see ANY moles between they're eyes?

The town stares at the witches and see that they're are no moles. But all of sudden, in the blink of an eye, there are now moles between every one of the witches' eyes! The crowd goes crazy and begins chanting "burn the witch", "burn the witch", "kill the witch", "kill the witch".

DARRIN
What the?

The witches notice the moles on eachother.

ENDORA
Are you sure? I do not have a mole between....

MATILDA
Neither do I!

YOUNG SAMANTHA
See mother, now because you disobeyed the council we are all going to die.

ENDORA
We are witches... We live forever!

YOUNG SAMANTHA
Not without powers!

The officer take the witches and begins to take them out of the building. The town goes crazy!

GLADYS
See! See! There's your proof.... This is so much fun!

DARRIN
Sam!?

As everyone leaves, Darrin just continues standing there as we...

END ACT TWO

FADE TO COMMERCIAL

ACT THREE:

28. EXT. COURT HOUSE - NIGHT

The officers are carrying the witches off. The crowds surround the witches cheering and shouting.

29. INT. COURT HOUSE - NIGHT

Darrin sits in one of the chairs... He has been crying.

DARRIN
I have to save her.

Her runs out of the building.

30. EXT. COURT HOUSE - NIGHT

Darrin walks out of the building an no one is there.

DARRIN
I tried.... ENDORA! It's her fault....

Darrin runs to find them.

31. EXT. SALEM SKYLINE - NIGHT

32. EXT. SOME CLIFF WHERE PEOPLE GET HANGED AT - NIGHT

The crowd approaches with the witches. The struggle to be killed but they are fighting a losing battle. Matilda is first, a few guard put her neck in the ropes and her hang there. The crowd cheers. Endora let's out a huge cry. The officers pick up Young Samantha.

ENDORA
No!!! It's all my fault. You were right! I should have just left it alone! I can't lose my baby Samantha! Please! Please! Do you hear me! I want my powers back and I promise to leave well enough alone!!! Please! I want my powers back, now!

Endora hands begins to glow. One of the officers has hold of young Samantha. He is just about to put her in the ropes.

ENDORA (Thanks)
We'll be home in just a minute... after I teach these...

Endora swings her arms back ready to cast FEROCIOUS spell, Darrin is running up to cliff, out of breathe, Young Samantha is about to be put in there but in the blink of an eye... EVERYONE disappears except... Matilda... who is left being dieing.

33. INT. STEPHENS' LIVING ROOM (Bare) - NIGHT

In the blink of an eye... everyone returns...

GLADYS
Wow... that was fun. I can't believe they actually thought you were a witch, they'll never find out your really a....

SAMANTHA
Good night.

GLADYS
What!?

ENDORA
SHE SAID GOOD NIGHT!

Endora flings her wrist and levitates Gladys out the door.

SAMANTHA
Unspeakable wrath.

ENDORA
Wait a minute.... Where's Matilda.

SAMANTHA
Maybe they brought her back somewhere else...

ENDORA
No.... she left here that means she'd come back here. Oh no she's still....

Endora breaks out crying. Darrin and Samantha put they're arms around her to comfort her.

34. EXT. HANGING GROUND (CONT'D) - NIGHT

Matilda is still just hanging there. She looks like she's gone put she puts her head up and opens her eyes. She snaps her fingers and the pops out of the ropes.

MATILDA
Don't worry. Endora, I'll make sure that these witch hunts are stopped soon.

Matilda opens her hand and zaps a piece of paper and pen. The pen magically writes by itself on the paper.

MATILDA (CONT'D)
Good. Here Enodra.

Matilda zaps the letter out of her hand. Then she pops out.

35. INT. STEPHENS' LIVING ROOM (CONT'D) - NIGHT

While Sam & Darirn are comforting Endora the paper Matilda had falls into Endora's lap.

ENDORA
What?

Samantha takes the paper and reads who wrote it.

SAMANTHA
It's from Aunt Matilda....

DARRIN
She's still alive.

SAMANTHA
See mother you did make a difference. Now Aunt Matilda is alive, because of you she can live another thousand years.

ENDORA
What does it say?

Endora tear begins to go away as Samantha reads the letter:

SAMANTHA
Dear Endora, Samantha, and the boy, I wanted to write and tell that I am doing fine, because of you guys I now have my powers. I will be extra careful when I finish the "Anti Witch Hunt" that Endora started. I hope pop to soon. Write back and let me know what year you're in and I'll plan a round trip out there. Love, Aunt Matilda.

See mother.... You did make a difference...

ENDORA (Happy)
I guess so.... Donald, get your hand off me! And did you mean when you'd say if I'd disappear you'd set let me free. Well, guess what, I have my powers back and I'm not going anywhere!

Endora turns Darrin into a jackass.

ENDORA (CONT'D)
Very nice looking, you agree Samantha?

SAMANTHA
Mother....

ENDORA
Oh very well.

Endora zaps Darrin back.

DARRIN
Endora!!

SAMANTHA
Darrin, what was wrong what you said.

ENDORA
But you did do well in the court room.

DARRIN (Modest)
Thanks.

ENDORA
Really, I probably you like you more if you'd have gone into law.

DARRIN
Then maybe I should......... stay in advertising!

ENDORA
Arrrggghhh.

SAMANTHA
We've been through enough speech and debate. You two just get along.

ENDORA
Very well. I am going trick-or-treating with the tonight.

SAMANTHA
But mother, Tabitha and Adam are gone for the week.

ENDORA
Those aren't the kids.

Endora quickly zaps Sam and Darrin into kids. The kid Sam is the same we saw in the past.

KID DARRIN
Turn me back Endora

KID SAMANTHA
C'mon Darrin I think it would be fun.

Sam twitches her nose and two Halloween costumes are placed on them. Samantha dresses as Glinda, Good Witch of the North and Darrin is a big PUMPKIN!

KID DARRIN
Whatever. If I've learned anything is to just accept it.

KID SAMANTHA
Yeah mother, now that we all learned how to accept things, why don't you accept Darrin and I's marriage?

ENDORA
Never. Let's go.

Endora zaps up some candy buckets for the kids and zaps herself into her flying costume and they walk towards the door.

KID SAMANTHA
What are you mother?

ENDORA
A WITCH!
