TEASER:

01. EXT. THE SKY - NIGHT

Endora and Tabitha each are flying on their own broom in the sky. Endora is in her flying costume and Tabitha is in her own flying costume (Purple with black and gold lace). Endora rides on her broom like a pro, sitting up, arms in the air. Tabitha is laying down, holding on, with fear on her face. Tabitha and her broom begin to fall.

TABITHA
Grandmama! Help me. I'm slipping.

ENDORA
Hold on dear.

Endora lowers her broom down to Tabitha's.

ENDORA
Ready to go?

TABITHA
Yes...It's getting cold.

Endora sticks both of her hands in front of her and both of the brooms go into full speed.

02. EXT. TOWN NEWSPAPER OFFICE - NIGHT

03. INT. TOWN NEWSPAPER OFFICE - NIGHT

In an office, Mr. Cary sits and his desk with Samantha opposite it.

MR. CARY
So what makes you think you have what it takes to write for the Chronicle?

SAMANTHA
Well, I once wrote a play about the Civil War.

MR. CARY
Really, how long ago was that?

SAMANTHA
Well, today is December 1972, so that would make it...November 1965.

MR. CARY
Mrs. Stephens. I trust you are a good writer but I don't think we have time or room for you here at the Chronicle.

SAMANTHA
Look, I've been a suburban housewife and mother for 9 years. I'm not hiding that, but with all do respect you are hiring me not my experience.

04. EXT. SKY (ABOVE STEPHENS' HOUSE) - NIGHT

Endora and Tabitha continue full speed on their brooms straight through a wall of the Stephens' home exterior.

05. INT. TOWN NEWSPAPER OFFICE (CONT'D) - NIGHT

MR. CARY
Tell you what I'll do...You pick any subject you want. Write me up an article and I'll base my decision on that.

SAMANTHA
Oh, Thank you Mr. Cary.

Samantha stands up to leave and Mr. Cary stands to shake her hand.

MR. CARY
Bring the article in next Monday.

06. INT. STEPHENS' STAIR CASE - NIGHT

Endora and Tabitha ride in on their brooms down the stairs and go for a smooth landing in the living room.

07. INT. STEPHENS' LIVING ROOM - NIGHT

Esmeralda and Adam are both on the couch waiting for the witches to return. Adam is in his pajamas ready to go to bed.

ADAM
Do you fly Tabby?

TABITHA
Yeah.

ENDORA
You did wonderful dear. We just need to work on you altitude.

ESMERALDA
I really need to work on my powers, period.

ENDORA
Why Esmeralda dear, why not take flying lessons with Tabitha.

ESMERALDA
Then who would watch Adam?

ENDORA
He is a bit too young to fly, Adam would you like to fly with Grandmama, on her broom tomorrow night?

ADAM
Yes Grandmama.

08. EXT. STREET - NIGHT

Samantha is getting off the subway and begins walking down the street. Sam walks for a few seconds. Suddenly, a man POPS in the middle of sidewalk. He is an old man. Gray hair with suite on, well groomed. Samantha is scared out of her wits and twitches her nose. Nothing happens.

SAMANTHA
What!? Why aren't my powers working?

OLD MAN
They won't work on me.

SAMANTHA
Who are you?........Okay, that didn't work but this will.

Samantha twitches her nose and she disappears out of scene. The old man pops out as well.

09. INT. STEPHENS' HOME (CONTINUED) - NIGHT

ENDORA
You know, I rather like Samantha out looking for a job. If I can't teach Samantha new tricks why not my grandchildren. Time for bed.

Samantha pops in the living room just as Endora and the kids pop out.

SAMANTHA
Mother!? I saw that.

Endora and the kids walk down the stairs.

ENDORA
You called Samantha.

SAMANTHA
Oh, don't go acting mortal with me! I saw you pop out.

ENDORA
That mortality getting to your head dear?

SAMANTHA
No. But something else is though.

ENDORA
Unless it begins with super, and ends with natural. I'm not interested.

SAMANTHA
It does.

ENDORA
Okay, children back upstairs.

ESMERALDA
I'll tuck them in.

Esmeralda gets up off the sofa and walks the children upstairs.

ENDORA
Go on, Samantha. What happened?

SAMANTHA
While I was walking home someone popped in front of me and....

The old man pops into the Stephens' living room. Endora is frightened and waves her arms. The old man freezes in place.

SAMANTHA
Whoa............Mother, how did you do that?

ENDORA
It's called witchcraft dear. Been so long since you used it, you forgot what it is?

SAMANTHA
He's what happened to me. I was walking off the subway and he popped in front of me and I twitched to freeze him and nothing happened.

ENDORA
One solution.

SAMANTHA
What's that?

ENDORA
He knew who you were. The only way a witch can avoid another witches' power is to expect it's coming. So this warlock knows who you are.

SAMANTHA
Or he could be something else that's immuned to witches.

ENDORA
If he was something else he wouldn't be able know who you are. Only a witch can detect another witch. And he didn't plan on meeting up with me.

Darrin walks through the front door.

DARRIN
Then he doesn't know Sam very well or he'd know her MOTHER was always here.

ENDORA
Bite your tongue.

Darrin bites his tongue.

DARRIN
Ow. At least my tongue isn't razor sharp.

Samantha walks to Darrin. Hugs and kisses him.

SAMANTHA
I am so glad you are home dear. But ya know.....

ENDORA
Can't you take a hint Dawson?!? She wants you to go.

DARRIN
Fine. You take care of this. After our blast front the past two months ago I want to take care of anything supernatural so please take care of it. I'll tell the children good night.

Darin walks upstairs.

ENDORA
What in the world has came over Darrin?

SAMANTHA
Happiness.

ENDORA
What!?

The old man unfreezes.

SAMANTHA
Later.

Samantha pops over by the fireplace, puts her arm in a circle and a rope ties around the old man.

SAMANTHA (CONTINUED)
Weren't expecting that were you?

10. EXT. STEPHENS' HOUSE - NIGHT

Three Dog Night's "Shambala" continues.

11. INT. TABITHA'S ROOM - NIGHT

While the music continues, Darrin pulls the covers over Tabitha and kisses her good night. Darrin walks out and turns off the lights, he looks over the banister to see Endora and Samantha talking to the old man. We walks to Adam's room and does the same with Adam. He walks out and looks over the banister again. Then he walks into his room and shuts the door. The music fades.

12. INT. STEPHENS' LIVING ROOM - NIGHT

ENDORA
So you aren't a warlock.

THE OLD MAN
No, I'm an Insider.

SAMANTHA
Gee, All I heard of was the outsiders.

ENDORA (Remembering)
Insider......

SAMANTHA
So what exactly is an insider?

THE OLD MAN
An insider, is a special "insider" for witches. There are three of us who help witches. You weren't suppose to find out.

ENDORA (Angry)
I know who you are! Help witches what!?

THE OLD MAN
If you could just untie my hands....

ENDORA
What do I look like? Mortal? I know that your magic comes from.

SAMANTHA
Mother!

ENDORA
What dear? I don't think witches need help with anything.

SAMANTHA
He never said was here to correct anything.

ENDORA
He said "help", what does our kind need help with? Absolutely nothing. He has an alternative motive.

SAMANTHA
Mother.

Endora waves her arms to cast a spell.

ENDORA
Who ever you are, no one cares, go somewhere, it's now your turn, go there now and never return.

The old man pops out and the rope falls to floor.

SAMANTHA
Mother.

ENDORA
I didn't like his sense of attitude.

SAMANTHA
Sense of attitude? If he is what he said is true then something could be seriously wrong.

ENDORA
Then maybe I should call him back. I love wrong.

Endora pops out of the room.

SAMANTHA
Okay...New job, new problem....Why does it feel like routine?

Samantha walks up the stairs.

13. INT. STEPHENS' BEDROOM - NIGHT

Outside: Samantha walks up to the closed door and walks in.
Inside: The lights are off. Sam walks in and turns them on. Darrin is asleep in bed.

SAMANTHA
Oh, Darrin.

14. EXT. STEPHENS' HOUSE - DAY

15. INT. STEPHENS' BEDROOM - DAY

Samantha gets up as the alarm clocks rings at 7:00am. She looks to her right to give Darrin a good morning kiss but realizes that he is gone. She presses snooze on her alarm clock, lays back down to sleep. 15 minutes later: the alarm clocks rings again. Samantha looks to her right to kiss Darrin but realizes he is gone. She presses snooze and lays back down for just a few moments. Then Sam jumps up and realizes Darrin is missing.....

SAMANTHA
Darrin!!!

....She gets up and swing her arms around really fast. This speeds up her energy and she runs down into the living room, no the kitchen, no the patio, no then den....

16. INT. DEN - DAY

Samantha rushes in the den to find Darrin asleep at his desk. Samantha quietly walks over to him.

SAMANTHA
Darrin. Darrin. Darrin.

DARRIN
Hmmm.

SAMANTHA
Ah, when did you come to your den last night Darrin?

DARRIN
I went to my den.

SAMANTHA
Darrin, it's 7:30 shouldn't you be at the office?

DARRIN
My own office?

SAMANTHA
No, McMann & Tate.

Darrin shakes his head and gets up....

DARRIN
Oh, good morning Sam.

Darrin kisses her.

DARRIN (CON'TD)
I didn't want to wake you up.

Darrin kisses her.

DARRIN (CON'TD)
But I had to work on something very important.

Darrin kisses her.

DARRIN (CON'TD)
It's something that I am very excited about but I don't want to announce anything yet.

Darrin kisses her.

DARRIN (CON'TD)
So, what time is it?

SAMANTHA
Seven Thirty.

Darrin kisses her.

DARRIN
What? I gotta go.

Darrin runs out.

SAMANTHA
Why didn't you tell me?

Darrin comes back and kisses Sam, again. Sam smiles as Darrin runs out, again. The doorbell rings. Samantha exits.

14. EXT. STEPHENS' FRONT STOOP - DAY

Gladys and Abner stand at the door.

ABNER
Gladys, this is ridiculous. This whole thing is ridiculous.

GLADYS
Abner, I'm not in the mood. I haven't even looked at the Stephens' since we went back in to the that amusement park where everyone believed Mrs. Stephens was something!

ABNER
Sure, Gladys.

GLADYS
Abner! I saw them flying last night. In the sky. Even the little one.

ABNER
Sure Gladys. Just tell the Stephens' what you saw and tell them we're moving.

GLADYS
For the last time we....

Samantha answers the door.

GLADYS (CONT'D)
...aren't moving.

SAMANTHA
Mr. and Mrs. Kravitz, who isn't moving?

GLADYS
We aren't.

ABNER
Correction. We are.

SAMANTHA
Mr. Kravitz, why?

ABNER
Gladys saw you fly last night.

Samantha jumps up in shock and mumbles "mother".

GLADYS
Want us to come back while later while you make up your story?

Endora comes from the kitchen.

ENDORA
Do us a favor and never come back.

SAMANTHA
Mother!? Mr. and Mrs. Kravitz, I apologize for my mother.

ENDORA
Don't apologize Samantha. Gladys is always snooping on you. Maybe a little nudity would set her straight.

SAMANTHA
That's enough mother.

ABNER
We won't have to worry about this anymore. We're moving next week. Come Gladys.

GLADYS
But Abner!

Abner and Gladys walk off arguing. Sam shuts the door and turns to her mother.

15. INT. STEPHENS' LIVING ROOM - DAY

SAMANTHA
Mother! What has came over you.

ENDORA
Nothing. I'm just getting started.

SAMANTHA
What!?

ENDORA
It's bad enough you have to live as mortal...

SAMANTHA
I thought we'd gotten past the whole mixed marriage thing.

ENDORA
Donald is tolerable. Like I was saying... It's bad enough you have to live as a mortal but to intimidated by one is utter trash.

SAMANTHA
I'm sorry mother. The problem will be solved when the Kravitz's move then we'd all be happier. And me and the children would be safer.

ENDORA
I can't wait.

Endora pops out. Darrin runs down the stairs.

DARRIN
Okay, I'm late honey. Gotta go.

Darrin kisses Sam as he rushes out the door.

SAMANTHA
Bye Darrin. Guess I'm late too.

Samantha glances out the window to watch Darrin leave and sees Gladys peaking out hers.

SAMANTHA (CONT'D)
Well, if she's watching. I'm putting on a show.

Samantha twitches on her days clothes, and her and make-up is already.

SAMANTHA (CONT'D)
I'm late too.

Samantha "twitches" again and pops out. At the same time, Endora pops back in.

ENDORA
"The ones who wonder in this town, When the unbelievable happened, No More Frowns, To find what you hear has truth, Don't play bingo, Pop in a pink flamingo".

We zoom in on Gladys across the street.

16. EXT. KRAVITZ HOUSE - DAY

While Gladys is peaking, two pink flamingos pop in front of her window.

GLADYS
Ahhhhh!!!!

17. INT. KRAVITZ LIVING ROOM - DAY

Gladys turns away from the window and the 2 flamingos pop into the living room and another 1 is added to the bunch.

GLADYS
Abner!

Abner walks in and before he looks the flamingos disappear.

ABNER
What Gladys?

GLADYS
Look at all the pink flamingos!

Abner walks back to wherever he came from. The flamingos pop back but there are now 6 of them.

GLADYS
Ahhh!

18. EXT. TYPICAL CONNECTICUT STREET - DAY

Samantha walks down the street with a pen and pad of notebook paper. She curiously watches the citizens of Westport as she looks for her story. Then all of the sudden she bumps into the old man.

SAMANTHA
You again.

OLD MAN
Yes.

SAMANTHA
I thought mother sent you away.

The two continue walking together.

OLD MAN
When I want to, I can be immuned to your parlor tricks of witchcraft.

SAMANTHA
Because your an insider.

OLD MAN
Because I am an insider.

SAMANTHA
A good insider?

OLD MAN
The only type of insider there is.

SAMANTHA
That's good news. You were a little unclear last night about who you are and what you are doing here.

OLD MAN
An insider is just like a witch but a few levels higher. We go inside a witches mind to persuade to help someone or direct them to someone who needs help. When I popped in front of you last night...That was ah, never suppose to happen.

A pink flamingo pops in front of Sam and the Old Man.

OLD MAN
What's that. What did you do?

SAMANTHA
Me? I didn't do anything. What did you do?

OLD MAN
Nothing. But your mind is telling me your mother.

SAMANTHA
My mother? Did you leave something out about an insider?

Pause.

OLD MAN
What do you mean?

SAMANTHA
Something while you are in a witch's mind to make them do good things...You can read their mind.

OLD MAN
Something like that.

Another flamingo pops in and they both yell "Mother".

SAMANTHA
How did you know that I was going to say that? Look, I don't care who you are I am good witch who does good things on her own and I don't need you to tell me to do them..

Another flamingo pops in. The crowd begins gathering around the flamingos.

OLD MAN
A crowd is collecting now. You can pop them out of here.

SAMANTHA
What is your problem. I didn't do anything.

Two more flamingos pop in.

OLD MAN
Why is it every time everything you find ridiculous flamingos pop in.

Samantha turns around to him and looks him straight in the eye. She twitches her nose and the whole street freezes even the old man.

SAMANTHA
Bet you weren't expecting that were you? Mother! Mother! Oh dear.

Samantha leaves the crowd.

We still focus on the crowd and the old man opens his eyes and looks at Samantha walking away (he really didn't freeze). He watches Sam for a few seconds and all of the sudden he goes into shock. We zoom real fast into his eye.

19. EXT. ANOTHER TYPICAL STREET - DAY

A car is driving extremely fast. A man walks in front of the car, he isn't paying attention and gets hit.

20. EXT. BACK TO THE CROWD - DAY

We zoom out of his eye.

OLD MAN
Oh, no. Samantha!

He put's his head down.

21. EXT. TYPICAL STREET (AGAIN ) - DAY

Samantha is walking on the sidewalk. The old man appears right in front of Samantha, but he is invisible. He recognizes that the car is coming.

22. EXT. MCMANN & TATE - DAY

23. INT. LARRY TATE'S OFFICE - DAY

Larry sits at his desk with Darrin opposite it.

DARRIN
I'm sorry Larry. But I'm 37 years old and still haven't achieved my dream yet. Yes I come with slogans but I wanted I've always to have my own advertising agency and be my own boss.

LARRY
Double you salary.

DARRIN
It's not about the money Lar.

LARRY
2 months paid vacation.

DARRIN
I'll see you around Larry.

Darrin gets up to leave.

24. EXT. TYPICAL STREET (CONT'D) - DAY

The old man recognizes the car he saw and acts lastly. Still invisible...he sees the man getting ready to cross.

OLD MAN
Quick, Samantha! Move him out of the way.

Samantha quickly looks at the man who is about to get hit by the car. She twitches her nose and right before the man would have gotten hit he is levitated in mid-air out of the way. After the car passes, the guy is brought back down. And everyone is ecstatic about what happened. The invisible old man disappears.

25. EXT. BACK TO THE CROWD - DAY

The old man puts his head up and once he does that the flamingos disappear. He blinks his eyes and disappears, physically this time.

26. INT. OUTSIDE OF LARRY'S OFFICE - DAY

Darrin is walking out and Larry walks after him trying to be convincing

LARRY
C'mon Darrin, this company needs you.

Darrin turns back:

DARRIN
I'm sorry Larry but my dream has always been to own an advertising agency, not just work at one.

LARRY
Darrin, I find that hard to believe.

A flamingo pops into the room.

DARRIN
Now I find that hard to believe.

Another flamingo pops into the room.

LARRY
Uh huh.

DARRIN
Endora.

LARRY
Why are you mentioning you mother-in-law?

DARRIN
Did you hear that?

LARRY
Hear what?

DARRIN
But why.

LARRY
Because you asked.

ENDORA (Voice)
You better not quit whatever it is you do Donald. Remember you have a family of four to take of and if you don't we're going to have to rely on Samantha.

DARRIN
Samantha.

LARRY
You heard Samantha?

DARRIN
No.

LARRY
Then why did you say Samantha, Darirn?

DARRIN
I need to go.

LARRY
But Darrin, please think this over.

DARRIN
I'm sorry Larry, but I've made up my mind what I want to do.

Darrin walks out, one flamingo fallows Darrin and the other fallows Larry.

27. EXT. TYPICAL STREET (CONT'D) - DAY

Sam looks around at what just happened, 5 flamingos pop into the scene. By now the town has just gone crazy. The old man now pops into the picture.

SAMANTHA
Oh my stars. I thought I ditched you and these rotten flamingos.

OLD MAN
With an insider, Anything is possible.

5 more flamingos pop in.

SAMANTHA
Oh no, This can't be happening.

5 more flamingos pop in.

OLD MAN
Oh but it is my dear.

SAMANTHA
You wouldn't believe it but I just saved a man who was just about to get hit by a car.

OLD MAN
I believe it.

The flamingos disappear.

SAMANTHA
Yeah, well, I didn't.

The flamingos reappear.

OLD MAN (mumbles)
Look, the only reason you were able to have the courage, strength, and timing was because of me.

SAMANTHA
Great, a conceited insider.

OLD MAN
Look, not only can I bam myself into your head...I can see future events. They bam into my head. And it was up to me to warn you. To go into your mind and give you the courage you needed to do that.

SAMANTHA
I find that hard to believe.

More flamingos appear.

OLD MAN
Have you noticed something about the flamingos.

SAMANTHA
Yes. It's you probably did to get in my mind and get me to help someone.

While the two are arguing Mr. Cary gets pulls up and gets out and is yelling "Samantha"!!!

MR. CARY
Samantha! Samantha!

SAMANTHA
Oh, hello Mr. Cary. This is Mr. Cider.

OLD MAN
How do you do?

MR. CARY
How do you do?

SAMANTHA
Now what can I help you with?

MR. CARY
I heard you were down here and this would be perfect for your story.

SAMANTHA
My story? I don't believe this.

OLD MAN (Whispers)
Flamingo.....Dingoe........Endora! Sounds like her spells.

Old Man pops out.

MR. CARY
What on earth was that?

SAMANTHA
I don't think it was anything on earth.

MR. CARY
As long as you write about it get some serious witness reports, you'll always have work.

28. INT. STEPHENS' LIVING ROOM - DAY

Endora lays in mid-air watching, on the T.V., the effects of her flamingo spell on Gladys, until the old man pops in.

ENDORA
What are you doing here?

OLD MAN
You know who I am.

ENDORA
You mean an insider.

OLD MAN
I know all about you and your spell.

ENDORA
Figures an idiot insider would. Been in mind, eh?

OLD MAN
Why didn't you tell Samantha who I was?

ENDORA
I once had an insider, I would of married a mortal to avoid it again. I didn't want my daughter to go through that.

OLD MAN
You aren't serious.

ENDORA
I've never been more serious.

OLD MAN
Because of your Flamingo spell, the whole town is reaking havoc. Main Street alone has flamingos and people flying all over it.

ENDORA
Now were there or were you in someone's mind who took the time get there by themselves.

OLD MAN
I was there Endora! Following Samantha. She just saved a mortal from being ran over by a vehicle.

ENDORA
Because of you.

OLD MAN
Yes, of course.

ENDORA
My daughter would have helped the mere mortal anyway. She has a good heart.

OLD MAN
She needed me to give her the courage, the speed....

Endora rises and is pretty mad while the old man keeps a cool head on his shoulders.

ENDORA
She's a witch, not a cop!

OLD MAN
Any ways, Samantha's new boss showed up and wants her to write an article on events taking place today. What is she suppose to do? Write, yeah my mom's a witch who cast this spell on the whole town to see flamingos when they don't believe something.

ENDORA
Where were you in my mind when I cast the spell? Besides, I only wanted to have more fun with Gladys Kravitz.

OLD MAN
Yeah, well, now....Your having fun with the whole town and jeopardizing Samantha's secret.

Samantha walks through the front door.

SAMANTHA
What are you two doing here? Especially you (points to man), the whole town saw some craft today and main street is flooded with flamingos now because of you.

Cut to main street:

The whole street is filled with Pink flamingos: On cars, buildings, everywhere!

Cut to living room (cont'd):

OLD MAN
I had no such thing to do with the flamingos. Ask your mother?

ENDORA
Bye dear.

Endora pops out.

OLD MAN
She wanted to teach Gladys Kravitz a lesson, so she cast a spell that made every time she found something unbelievable she would see flamingos.

SAMANTHA
I guess that is why my mother left.

OLD MAN
Guess so.

SAMANTHA
Now it's time for you to leave.

OLD MAN
What!?

SAMANTHA
I think and speak for myself and the other witches of Westport would love some free-thinking.

OLD MAN
I'm not leaving.

SAMANTHA
You don't have choice.

OLD MAN
But you need me.

SAMANTHA
My mother has cast several spells and we've been able to work them out on our own, Thank you.

The Old Man pops out.

SAMANTHA (CONT'D)
If you are what you say you are go into everyone's mind and make them forget all about what they saw.

29. INT. KRAVITZ LIVING ROOM - DAY

Abner is asleep on the couch and Gladys is frightened with all the flamingos in her living room.

GLADYS
Abner! Help! That's right sleep you big chicken. I'm sure you'll never believe me anyway.

More flamingos pop in.

END OF ACT ONE

COMMERCIAL

ACT TWO:

30. EXT. DARK SKY (AGAIN) W/ SHINNING STARS - NIGHT

Endora and Tabitha ride on a broom together, really fast and Tabitha doesn't like it. Samantha follows behind with her broom (and flying suit).

ENDORA
You are getting better Tabitha dear.

SAMANTHA
Mother, you get back here. I don't believe this is happening.

A flamingo pops into the sky and begins chasing Samantha. Samantha, frightened, falls on her broom and she concentrates to levitate herself more into the sky. The old man pops on the flamingo and flies on it.

SAMANTHA
Oh dear. Oh dear. My goodness. What are you doing here? I thought I told you to get out of here.

31. INT. KRAVITZ LIVING ROOM - NIGHT

Gladys stares out the window with her telescope and is seeing the flamingo, old man, and Samantha flying.

GLADYS
Abner!

The camera slowly moves over to a table passing all of the flamingos.....At the table is Abner....Drunk....Holding an alcoholic beverage in his hand.

GLADYS
Abner! Abner! Oh, this is my one chance to prove I am not lieing so we won't be able to move.

32. EXT. SKY CONTINUED - NIGHT

OLD MAN
My bosses say that it isn't nice to make a witch mad. It's that whole Salem thing.

SAMANTHA
Yeah. Okay. Mother!

Samantha lets go of her broom and she moves her arms in a circle as fast as she can. The puts her hands back on her broom and smoke comes from the end of broom as Samantha goes full speed ahead leaving the man and the flamingo behind.

OLD MAN
If it has to be this way........

The old man squints his eyes and Samantha comes back to the scene double the speed she flew out.

SAMANTHA
...ther!!! What!? You again.

Samantha snaps her fingers and the flamingo, Samantha, and old man disappear.

33. INT. KRAVITZ LIVING ROOM - NIGHT

Gladys has ahold of Abner and is forcing him to look out the window. Abner looks.

ABNER
I don't see anything!

Gladys drops Abner....Plunk! On the floor! Gladys looks for herself and SCREAMS!!!!! She falls too!

34. INT. STEPHENS' LIVING ROOM - NIGHT

The flamingo, old man, and Samantha stand in the kitchen.......Talking.

SAMANTHA
So who are your bosses? Why don't they want to make a witch mad.

OLD MAN
Don't worry about.

SAMANTHA
You said it was that whole Salem thing.

OLD MAN
I did?

SAMANTHA
Yes and I want to know who you really are.

Endora and Tabitha fly through the kitchen door and stay on the broom as Endora says "words".

ENDORA
You better tell her before I do.

Tabitha and Endora fly out the back kitchen door.

SAMANTHA
I want to know.

Samantha secretly puts her fingers behind her. She moves them around to where a glass falls off the counter, where Sam is standing. She bends over to pick it up and twitches her nose when she gets down. She turns around to notice that the old man is frozen. She twitches her nose again to have the glass become whole again. Samantha looks at the old man in the eye.......

SAMANTHA
Sorry but I have to do this...... "When you unfreeze, you'll now be talkative and informative as can be!"

We hear a car pull up.

SAMANTHA
Darrin!

Samantha runs out the scene. The old man opens his eyes......he really wasn't frozen.

OLD MAN
I told you I can make you do what I want.

The old man puts his head to go into his spirit form again. We zoom down to floor to see that the flamingo is the only thing that did freeze.

35. EXT. SKY - NIGHT

Tabitha and Endora: back at the flying lessons. The old man pops into the sky and begins flying with them. But remember, he is still in the spirit form so no one can see him.

OLD MAN
Endora! Bring Tabitha back into to house now!

The old man's spirit disappears.

ENDORA
C'mon Tabitha.

TABITHA
Where are we going Grandmama?

ENDORA
Home.

TABITHA
I thought you wanted to fly all night?

36. INT. STEPHENS' KITCHEN - NIGHT

The Old Man gets out of his "spiritual form", snaps his fingers and the frozen flamingo disappears. He gets back into the position that he was "supposed" to be frozen in.

37. INT. STEPHENS' LIVING ROOM - NIGHT

Darrin and Samantha speak to each other in the entrance hall.

DARRIN
Flying lessons!?

SAMANTHA
Yes Darrin.

DARRIN
On what?

SAMANTHA
Well, ah....

DARRIN
Don't answer that. So ah, anything else interesting happen today?

SAMANTHA (thinks)
No. No. No sweetheart. None that I can think of.

DARRIN
You mean all the flamingos flooding main street, my office, and the ones Gladys told me about in her living room has nothing to do with witchcraft.

SAMANTHA
Well.....

DARRIN
Samantha!

SAMANTHA
I think mother casted a little spell this morning.

DARRIN
A little spell would be a flamingo waiting for me in the bathroom...... This BIG spell means the whole town of Westport is flooded with flamingos.

SAMANTHA
Darrin.... I didn't mean it like that.

DARRIN
Then how did you mean it? Let me guess...... Adam's wish craft...... Esmeralda's crafty craft, Uncle Arthur's practical craft....... or.......

SAMANTHA
No..... I met up with something new.

DARRIN
Another witch?

SAMANTHA
He calls himself an insider.

DARRIN
Insider?

SAMANTHA
They help people by going IN-side their minds and telling them to do good things.

DARRIN
Why would he create flamingos?

SAMANTHA
He wouldn't tell me.

DARRIN
Then where's he at now?

SAMANTHA
Kitchen.

Darrin rushes towards the kitchen.

38. INT. KITCHEN - NIGHT

The old man goes hears them coming and goes into "spirit form" in the dinning room, where Sam and Darrin are walking into.

39. INT. DINNING ROOM - NIGHT

The Old "Spirit" man tries to stop them going into the kitchen.

OLD MAN
Don't.... go into that kitchen. Do you hear me? Don't go into the kitchen.

Darrin doesn't listen is on his way in.

OLD MAN
You too Darrin! Don't go. You don't want to see the Insider. Go wait in the living room for Endora to come back.

Darrin and Samantha do as he says.

40. INT. LIVING ROOM - NIGHT

Darrin and Samantha are sitting on the couch with the "spirit" flying over them.

DARIRN
I'm going in the that stinking' kitchen.

Darrin stands strong and proud.

OLD MAN
No. No you're not.

DARIRN
No I'm not.....

Darrin sits back down.

DARIRN
I'm going in the that stinking' kitchen.

Darrin stands strong and proud.

OLD MAN
No. No you're not.

DARIRN
No I'm not.....

Darrin sits back down.

DARIRN
I'm going in the that stinking' kitchen.

Darrin stands strong and proud.

OLD MAN

Endora and Tabitha pop in the room with their flying robes. They pop into their regular clothes.

SAMANTHA
Mother, I told you to not take Tabitha out flying anymore!

OLD MAN
Go easy on her Samantha. You've got to be nice for her to reverse her spell. You too Darrin.

DARRIN
Endora, would you like a drink.

TABITHA
I want a drink.

SAMANTHA
I'll bring you milk later.

OLD MAN
Fall asleep Tabitha.

Tabitha yawns, closes her eyes and falls asleep on the couch.

SAMANTHA
Woah! Tabitha! What happened?

OLD MAN
Don't worry about it.......Ask your mother politely to remove the spell.

ENDORA
I get my own drinks Dennis!

SAMANTHA
Mother, would you kindly remove the spell on everyone?/

ENDORA
What spell?

SAMANTHA
I knew that it was the old man.

OLD MAN
It wasn't the old man.

SAMANTHA
It wasn't the old man.

OLD MAN
Your mother cast a spell on this town and she knows it.

SAMANTHA
Mother, you casted a spell on this town and you know it.

ENDORA
I cast a spell on the Kravitz's, but not the town.

DARRIN
You what!?

OLD MAN
Darrin, comb down.

Darrin sits down to rest, after he makes himself a drink.

SAMANTHA
Well, what was it mother?

OLD MAN
No time for explanations.....Just reverse the spell Endora!

ENDORA
"The spell I said, is over with now, reverse it's outcome and memory on this town."

SAMANTHA
Thank you mother.

ENDORA
Yeah, whatever!

SAMANTHA
I get it you had a slight mishap in your spell and you can't admit it. You think your powers are failing like Esmeralda's.

Endora pops out as nasty as she ever could. Leaving her shoes behind.

SAMANTHA
Guess mother is getting a little old.

DARRIN
How old is your mother?

SAMANTHA
She was best friends with Adam and Eve.

DARRIN
Are you serious?

SAMANTHA
No, no...Don't be silly.

OLD MAN
Good.......Now come check on the old guy.

The spirit disappears.

SAMANTHA
Oh no!

DARRIN
What?

SAMANTHA
The insider........

DARRIN
Oh no!

SAMANTHA
I need to unfreeze him in the kitchen.

Sam & Darrin walk towards the kitchen.

41. INT. STEPHENS' KITCHEN - NIGHT

The old man out his head back up and is ready for Sam to come back in. Darrin and Sam walk in, Sam twitches her nose and nothing is happening......She thinks she unfroze the old guy but he was already unfrozen. The old guy plays it off.

OLD MAN
What? What? What is going on here. Samantha, you were standing.......You did some hocus pocus on me didn't you?

SAMANTHA
Is that a bad thing?

OLD MAN
You know I can make you tell me.

DARRIN
Samantha!

SAMANTHA
Old man, this is Darrin.......Darrin this is Old Man.

OLD MAN
Please, call me Ocky.

DARRIN
So, ah who are you?

OLD MAN
Why?

DARRIN
So I know whether to offer you a drink or throw you out the door.

OLD MAN
If I told you it wouldn't be my secret anymore.

DARRIN
What!

Samantha combs Darrin down.

SAMANTHA
Comb down darling. Ocky has a secret. Accept it.

DARRIN
Fine.

42. EXT. STEPHENS' HOUSE - DAY

43. INT. STEPHENS' BREAKFAST TABLE - DAY

Sam sits with breakfast with the kids and Esmeralda.

ESMERALDA
Really? Endora, one of the most powerful witches of all time.....Power failure?

SAMANTHA
True lavender! She wanted to cast a spell on the Kravitz's but it backfired on the town.

ESMERALDA
I'm lucky if I can cast any spell! I'd be happy if one backfired.

SAMANTHA
Then when she popped out......She forgot her shoes.

Samantha pulls Endora's shoes up from the floor and sets them on the table.

TABITHA
Are the Kravitz's moving mommy?

SAMANTHA
I don't know.

ADAM
Why?

SAMANTHA
I really don't know. Abner said it was because of her health. I hope it doesn't have anything to do with her always seeing some craft.

The old man pops in.

SAMANTHA
Well, good morning Ocky.

Pause.

SAMANTHA
I haven't figured out who you are, what you are.....

OLD MAN
You were never suppose to find out who I was.

SAMANTHA
You weren't set by the witch's council to break Darrin and I's marriage up, are you? Because I know that it's been #1 on their list lately.

OLD MAN
I am one of the good guys. Trust me.

The old man fades.

ESMERALDA
Who was that warlock?

SAMANTHA
That's just That's just it! He isn't a warlock, ghost, vampire........

TABITHA
Can we go play?

SAMANTHA
No, no. It's Monday morning. Daddy has work, Adam has preschool, you have school...... (suddenly, ecstatically) Oh my gosh! And I have an article to do. Quick stand up you two.

ADAM
Why mommy?

SAMANTHA
Just do it.

Tabitha and Adam stand up. Samantha waves her arms to make Tabitha and Adam fully groomed with their school supplies. She twitches her nose and their OUT!

ESMERALDA
Where'd they go?

SAMANTHA
School.

ESMERALDA
But I thought Darrin didn't.....

SAMANTHA
Yeah well, magic messes me up..... Magic helps me out! Now I got to do my article.

Sam twitches: The breakfast table is cleared and a type writer is place on the table with a tall stack of paper.

ESMERALDA
Now what are you going to write about?

SAMANTHA
My boss told me to write about the flamingos but mother made them forget about it. Thank goodness.
There has been lots protest on what our city park is being used for. I can write about both sides.... "Out side of time, outside of gain........Speed me to what I want again and again".

Samantha sits down and is TYPING 500 MPH! She thinks, messes up, crumbles paper, etc. more than twice! Esmeralda takes advantage of spell......

ESMERALDA
"Out side of time, outside of gain........Speed me to what I want again and again".

Esmeralda is full speed now. We'll cut back in forth to check in on Esmeralda cleaning every room of the house, spotless in less that a minute and Samantha typing. When they're done Esmeralda rushes to the couch and reads several books. Samantha rushes upstairs....Comes back down, fully dressed, looking cute as ever and notices several dictionaries, encyclopedias, etc. scattered around the living room.

SAMANTHA
Summer reading?

ESMERALDA
Summer reading. Spring cleaning.

SAMANTHA
Well, I got to go.

Samantha pops her article in one hand and pops out after that.

44. INT. TOWN NEWSPAPER OFFICE - DAY

Back with Mr. Cary, Samantha waits eagerly across from Mr. Cary while he reads the article.

MR. CARY
Mmm hmmm. Mmm hmmm. Mmm hmmm. Mmm hmmm. Very good Mrs. Stephens. Very good. Could you start here next week and by picking up a town topic each week and then writing about through the week and returning it on Mondays?

SAMANTHA
Sure. I'd love to do that.

MR. CARY
I'll see you next week.

Samantha stands to leave and Mr. Cary stands to shake Sam's hand. They do and Sam walks out.

45. EXT. MCMANN & TATE - DAY

46. INT. MCMANN & TATE - DAY

In Larry's office, Sam and Larry sit speaking.

SAMANTHA
What do you mean he isn't here anymore?

LARRY
Darrin quit 4 days ago, he wanted to start his own company.

SAMANTHA
Your serious?

Samantha goes out of the office to take a peak at Darrin's old office door to find it says "Darryl Mevens".
Samantha walks back in.

LARRY
He didn't tell you.

SAMANTHA
But why?

LARRY
Like I said, wanted to start his own company.

SAMANTHA
Well, I don't know why.

LARRY
Neither do I.

SAMANTHA
C'mon Larry, you've been telling Darrin he'd be a partner for 10 years now......I think this is time. I got to go.

Samantha leaves and Larry picks up the phone and dials.

LARRY
Hello Darrin?

47. EXT. KRAVITZ HOME - DAY

Moving trucks are parked outside. A a sign reads "For Sell" on the lawn......Moving men are moving furniture in the truck. Abner and Gladys stand at the curb.

GLADYS
But Abner!

ABNER
I made up my mind Gladys.

GLADYS
Well at least let me tell the Stephens' goodbye.

ABNER
We'll call them later we are only moving Hartford.

GLADYS
I don't want to call them.

ABNER
Then why do you want to see them.

As Abner and Gladys continue arguing, their voices are covered by all the noise and everything. We see them lock the house up and Abner is pulling Gladys into the car. As they pull down the street, Gladys has her binoculars and she's looking over at the Stephens as they pass by.

48. INT. KRAVITZ'S NEW HOUSE - DAY

Gladys and Abner are inside taking a look at the living room, the house looks just like the house they just moved from.

GLADYS
I love it Abner.

ABNER
Frankly, Gladys, I don't care as long as you stop watching people fly.

GLADYS
But I didn't....

Abner plugs his ears and walks out.

ABNER
La la la la la.

GLADYS
Look there's even house right across the street.

Gladys looks out the window. We zoom into the window of the house, that resembles the Stephens' house and we see that Serena is in there dancing with a warlock, Teddy, but it's how their dancing......Their dancing in mid-air. We quickly zoom out to hear Gladys yell "Abner!".
